Critique
Ruby- Your macro photograph is very nice. It is great that the color of the flowers is so much brighter than the background. It makes the subject stand out more than just blurring the background. This defines the focal point well and the picture as a whole causes the eye to move around the . It does appear the you blurred the background, but it was done well and looks pretty natural. The composition does seem thought out, such as where you put the camera and what you chose the take the picture of.

Taylor- You have a very good action shot. It is nice how you were able to capture the action of the dogs without getting a bunch of extra background stuff to distract from the subject. The simple background causes the subject to pop and the focal point is well defined. The composition appears though out and not like you just snapped a photo, the background and crispness of the photo leads me to believe this. It is very good that the photo isn't blurry. Over all this is a very nice photo.

Mitchell- I really like your still life photo. The composition works really well, and the focal point is defined nicely with the rest of the photograph slightly blurry. The subject does cause the eye to move around the photograph in a good way. One thing that could be worked on is your macro, although it is a good picture its not really a macro. The leaf does stand out from the building in the background but it would be better if you blurred the tree as well.
